Several years ago I bought a piece of equipment for about $13,000. I used the shit out of it and kept it in good condition but I dont see myself getting back into it. I’m expecting to get about $6000 for it but since it was delivered on a pallet, shipping it is out of the question.
Feels like a bad idea to accept a check/QuickPay/venmo/anything that can be canceled afterward so am I stuck with cash?
And are there better sites for this than Craigslist? I don’t have Facebook.

EBay may be the best option. Large sales are common there afaik.
I’d be more likely to follow the advice of that snark if you didn’t follow it up by suggesting I use the worst sales platform on the planet. Ebay fees are like 15-20% of the sale cost.

Those were from memory but it looks more like 13-15% plus the listing fees and anything else. Still a full grand off the sale so my position stands
It’s insane to me that people are defending eBay, has anyone sold anything there in the past few years?? I stopped using it after feeling completely ripped off with them taking $150 on a video card sale
I’m not a fan of ebay at all, used them once in the last decade. I’m just curious why you’re arguing about percentages without any screenshots. At this point it’s just heresay.
I mean, list it somewhere and see what bites you get. Bringatrailer, craigslist, etc. at least see if there is interest.
