Most people with Alzheimer’s actually tend to loose more recent memories first. So they can tell you all about their childhood pets, but nothing about their children.
Yeah I mean the later stages when they forget who they are and who their relatives are.
Unless someone is at that point they will remember until young age at least 5+ years old, not everyone but the majority of people do.
