10 months agoWhen I went to Japan in college for 2.5 months I felt kinda big (I was normal weight), but then my flight back home stopped in Texas and…WOW the absolute SHOCK. I felt like a twig. This was many years ago and I still remember it so clearly.
I like that on Lemmy there are more human-like posts and no advertisements. Hated scrolling through Reddit ads then getting sneaky ad-like posts from ‘people.’
