Threads was “preseeded” with accounts by anyone who was on instagram. Its how threads suddenly had a 100 million users when it released.

Maybe If you can get to it. Power down all the trunk ports but the palace/military/etc.

Its not even that complicated. Just apply an allowlist firewall that only allows the elites access, or in a full blown outage, power off the core switches at the fiber ingress points.

With SDN, you could even just wipe the configs to disable the internet, and then reapply the config to bring them back up later. Could literally be setup as a “push button” if anyone wanted it configured that way.

Great info, but want to add that heat pump efficency is normally around 300%, which is why they are so cost effective. 1500w in a heat pump is around the same as 4500w resistive.

No ZigBee, zwave or threads. Only has WiFi/bluetooth built in.

They sell 2 separate antennas that each handle ZigBee/threads and Zwave, respectively for about $100 total.

2-3x more expensive, but they normally pay off in about 5 years.
