Well for starters it’s probably an embedded browser made to look like an app so there you go, 100mb for that. The google / apple libraries, 20mb, telemetry, 50mb… Then don’t forget the image cache on the device that they will never clear.

Actually it gives no convenience, only incovenience. When I lived there for 2 years about 20 years ago and everything was cash and you could at any moment just hail a taxi, a minibus, one these bycicle guys, tell where you want to go, give cash, it was very convenient.

No you “think about”. He opened the account didn’t he. So he came in person, presented id and everything, and defined the security questions that he then correctly answered. He passed authentication and then they just… didn’t believe it. It’s a systemic failure. I’ve had a specific bank account in the old country for 17 years, the last 15 spent outside of said country. I went there exactly once - to open the account. Since then I have used that account regularly including to buy, and later sell, an apartment and still didn’t have to go there.

Yeah I actually got called by a supervisor apologizing for the response and asking if I got the confirmation it was cancelled. I hadn’t but got it 15 mins later and wasn’t charged again.
