The closest I can think of: I think there was a crazy time when the People’s Republic of China and, to a lesser extent, the US were together(!) backing “Democratic Kampuchea” (i.e. the Khmer frickin’ Rouge) against the invading (USSR-allied) Socialist Republic of Vietnam and its proxy, the People’s Republic of Kampuchea.

So, the US, softly, backing a bunch of far-left lunatics against a less-far-left bunch backed indirectly by the Soviets.

I’ve only been on PieFed a month or so and they’ve already dealt with half a dozen things I’ve mentioned, from bugs to feature requests.

And there are extensions like LibRedirect so that clicking on a YouTube link in Firefox will open the video in Freetube.

Me neither.

I click on a YouTube link and it opens in FreeTube, no ads.

Every now and then, videos won’t play because of some change by Google, usually it’s just a day or so until FreeTube releases an update that works again.

My school (UK, 1980s) offered Mandarin as an extracurricular course. I signed up, showed up… and was the only student. One-on-one classes the rest of the year :)

(Just don’t try grilling me in Mandarin now, though.)

Why would anyone not like Russia or North Korea? They’re led by great guys, lovely guys. So strong! The haircuts. The uniforms!

Only started with Reddit last year, left when the country it’s based in started to threaten the country I’m in and a bunch of others, too.
