That would be Norwegian I assume. They are pronounced different in Danish.

Ricotta/tomato is not a necessity for a lasagne (in fact for a real lasagna bolognese you would need bechamel and meat ragu, but that is besides the point). Have you never had salmon lasagne with spinach?

AI agents get office tasks wrong around 70% of the time. Your figures may be correct, but they are more likely not to be. If you had done your own research this would not have been an issue.

They are commenting on how they think that news coverage should do a false equivalence on those two things.

breecher@sh.itjust.worksto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•98 degrees upstairs, ac stopped working at 8am.English874·2 months agoYou do realize the reason fahrenheit is set up that way, is based on the human perception of temperature. 0-100 is the general range or cold to hot.
That is not why fahrenheit works the way it does. This is something Americans have appropriated as a silly and poor excuse for using it. “cold” and “hot” are completely arbitrary and subjective terms, and the 0-100 range is as arbitrary.
Metric is good for science, but not ideal for casual everyday usage of hot and cold.
That will come as a surprise to the billions of people using it every day for exactly that purpose. You are projecting your own ignorance over billions of people, because you yourself have no idea how it works.
breecher@sh.itjust.worksto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why is U2 considered "grunge?"5·2 months agoSince they were the kind of hairspray rock which grunge was largely a response to, that would be much more jarring. U2 grew out of the new wave/post punk scene, which has much more in common with the origins of grunge than Motley Crue ever had.
breecher@sh.itjust.worksto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why is U2 considered "grunge?"8·2 months agoMost likely. But which list are you talking about?
breecher@sh.itjust.worksto No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why is U2 considered "grunge?"21·2 months agoThey have never been considered grunge by anybody. They released the album Achtung Baby in 1991, which recieved much critical acclaim, but so did a lot of other non-grunge bands. Just because a band released popular music in the early 1990s, doesn’t mean they are grunge.
That is just such a useless relativisation of the issue. There are problems all over the world sure, but there are also varying degrees of these problems. The US is facing a lot of different problems than the EU for example. So just saying “that is just human nature” is self-defeating and wrong, because obviously some of the problems the US faces have been fixed, or at least mitigated, to a varying degree elsewhere.
Fascists loves when people just sit back and let themselves be exploited because they think that is the natural order of things.
It is pointless to engage with that point of their argument, because the underlying premise that the 10 commandments are hung in the classroom on account of Christians dying for the US is even more wrong.
So by entering the discussion about whether Muslims have fought and died for the US, they will imply that you have accepted their underlying premise. There is no good faith arguing with fascists.
