Congress hasn’t passed much of anything lately. They just let Trump do his executive orders. But even if they felt like doing anything at all, the GOP has control and can count on a few Dems to follow along.

Does anyone have the sound on these days? My volume is set to 0 most of the time, I have no idea what any of the sounds are now.
My theory is the people making the decisions don’t actually use the products they make and have no idea what it’s like to use them. They hear that another site is using AI, for instance, and decide their own site needs to use AI. But they don’t understand what AI does or why they should/shouldn’t use it, only that they have to have it. Boom, enshittification.

“Mildly” is putting it mildly.
Listen more, talk less.

It was pretty obvious from looking at /r/all that upvotes and comments are way down. Posts from somewhat obscure subreddits are making it to the front page, something you never saw before. People may be reading, but they’re not participating as much as before.
For sheer aggravation, Facebook. I’ve been on it long enough to remember the chronological timeline, which made it easy to see your friends’ posts. Now you basically have to visit your friends’ profile to see what they’ve posted recently.
Instagram/Threads I don’t hate quite so much, but I avoid Meta products as much as possible due to my hatred of Zuck. I left Twitter and Reddit a while ago, not because I hated them but rather because I hate Elon and spez.
