

Some do apparently or they wouldn’t keep making the videos. Same thing for people who send out phishing emails and other scams. It must work sometimes.
“Spiritual gurus”, “self help gurus”, “crypto gurus”, “business gurus” they tend to be full of shit because if they were as good as they claim they would be making money with their skills and insights instead of making YouTube videos.
Why people fall for it just because someone claims to be an “expert” I will never understand, but I guess you could say the same about many things: advertising, politics, religion etc.
If they are very devout they have probably been taught that homosexuality is a sin. They didn’t know what to say so went with “that’s nice”
That’s what I would expect anyway.
