Traditional mail is important in the US because not everyone has access to the technology you speak of. Keep in mind, the USA is 50 countries in a trenchcoat and many areas / states are 3rd world.

That’s the official inflation numbers, which are lies. It’s an open secret that in the 90s there was a political movement among the owners to artificially lower reported inflation (see: Boskin Commission for example) because it would boost the economy (on paper) while letting them absorb the gains.
Underreporting by 1-2% a year doesn’t seem like much until you do it for several decades. Looking at actual inflation instead of the reported lie, that mars bar is closer to $2 today. Shrinkflation had to happen to keep the bigger con going. Most businesses will, of course, cheat the margins at every instance.

If you find yourself in an argument, or what you think is an argument, caring about winning/losing is the wrong mindset. This isn’t Debate Camp and there isn’t a trophy waiting for you. Listening, testing your knowledge and convictions, and maintaining your integrity are all much, much more important than “winning”.
If you “lose” an argument, especially if you “lost” to style, tactics, rhetorical devices, etc… then see Rule 1 above.

Doorless showers are great for the elderly, disabled, orgies, you name it- WHEN DONE RIGHT. This is far from correct. The shower spray should be spraying away from the entry, not right fucking at it. It’s puzzling because it looks like the control valve is on the near side so they routed the head all the way around to be in the wrong place? Even then, this is kind of a small space for a doorless. Also, one of those stupid corner shelves and a safety handle way the fuck in the corner. Buy a shower rod and floor length curtain to hang inside the glass wall. It’ll be real fancy.
