9 months agoI’m probably not in the same country as you but I’d say absolutely take it. You’re probably in a field where you can do the same thing again. Take the time to set yourself up as a company, get your tax affairs in order and charge everything (appropriate) to expenses and take the extra time to look for your next gig. Worst case you spent the extra time/money finding your next employment.
I feel like there’s a certain minimum income level/social safety net you need to have to be able to live like this. Like at some point the desire to keep having food/shelter becomes enough of a motivating factor that you have to work out what you need to do.
