one of the two packages is now stuck at the same place for a while and the second got put on a van but i think the package shop had break time when they tried to deliver it. They are closed midday for 2 hours.
Im contemplating if i should try to get it today now after work or if i get it when the website says its there.
Maybe the system is even faulty and my first package is already waiting for me.

reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Edit: it arrived at the pickup so im not mildly infuriated anymore :D

And if you got to week 9 and it’s almost week 10, would you not be mildly upset about it?

I remember slow shipping and was usually upset if my “6-8 week” took the full 8 weeks.

the one time it made me upset because it was a week late and it arrived the day before i really really needed it. Very anxious time

      To be fair, back then.

      • Cut out a coupon
      • Mail a handwritten form with a check
      • Post office takes a week to deliver.
      • A person has to sort the received order
      • A person has to hand process the order
      • They wait for the check to clear
      • A person has to package the order
      • Post office takes a week or so to deliver

It really wasn’t 6-8 weeks for a package to travel to its destination. The bulk of that was inefficient human order processing.

Fret not, still alive and well if you need anything from state or federal government. Simple unemployment claim first payment? Passport application (these are getting much better but it’s still what is claimed)? When a business owes you a refund?
