So far I’ve just been checking out free games to get a feel for the system, but it looks like I have a 3 month pass for Horizon+ ready to activate, so I can try some other stuff once I have an idea what to start with.

I’ve been having some fun with Ironstrike and War of Wizards so far. I like the concept of the virtual CCG in Cards & Tankards, though it does seem like it’s going to try and bleed money like most “free” card battlers.

Pistol Whip first and foremost. All the flagship titles are great, Especially Batman and Asgard’s Wrath, but Assassin’s Creed and Deadpool are fun too.

Some of my other favourites are UNDERDOGS, Swarm (the first one), Resist, TWD: Saints and Sinners, Until You Fall.

And yeah, check out Team Beef. All their ports are great. We play Quake 3 fairly often. And maybe consider chipping in to the Postal 2 kickstarter?

Holy shit, thanks for recommending Pistol Whip. I would never in a million years have been drawn to an on-rails beat shooter on my own, but it’s fucking FANTASTIC!

It really is. Be sure to check out custom maps once you get some practice with the official maps/campaigns. The mapping scene is tiny but dedicated.

Tried a few of those. Some nice songs, they can get real crazy for where I’m currently at though. I also found the Voidslayer songs in the theme packs or whatever they’re called. Viking prog rock is the icing on the cake to this masterpiece.

Try Graffiti. I made it specifically to be easy while still being fun, and I ended up making four more maps in that style (and the same artist) if you end up liking it.

Edit: Oh, and stay away from Ghost. That’s the polar opposite difficulty-wise =P
