Realistic but the key to emptying the suitcase is using the clothing it holds.

It’s a 3m² hallway next to my bedroom that I turned into a “dressing room”, nothing fancy, made the rack and shelves myself

I can’t stand the clutter. There’s enough of that in my brain already so I always unpack fairly quickly.

When I got out of college in 2015, I packed my suitcase; a month ago, I unpacked it while getting reday to move (I moved 5 other times in between without ever unpacking it, or packing anything new it).

I had a similar story which I relayed to my boss once.

He said “at that point it just sounds like storage.”

Have you ever seen a neurotypical person actively see and step over a problem/task for multiple weeks and not do it? And like, fairly often?

Yes, my very neurotypical wife can do that. While my hyperactivity push me to unpack immediately. I just constantly forget about important things. But when I see problem I solve it immediately, even when I shouldn’t.

I have boxes of stuff from three moves ago, I finally unpacked them. Now I have two or three of almost every kitchen utensil. I’ll sort them out into a box for getting rid of, soon… I suspect the “soon” will take a long time, and that the discard-box might just become a repeat of the prior cycle.

I need more rooms to store my trash in.
