I just got booted (the account was literally vapourized)off of Reddit after 9 yrs today. Posted a pic of a hat that said is he dead yet. No text just the pic.
I don’t care anymore really as once Reddit went on the stock market it was all over anyhoo.
Yes, I am 67 yrs old. Far as I know I am on a different system (Lemmy) than all those others? Got wiped on Reddit and quit all the other ones years ago. Sorry if I am doing this incorrectly.
Discord, YouTube, Lemmy and Reddit was the list in the comment you replied to. I was referring to that list. Seems like we just had our wires crossed in the ambiguity in your usage of ‘those’ in the comment ‘I don’t use any of those’ wherein you were referring to the OP and I thought you were referring to the comment you replied to. Does that sound right to you?
Yes I ignored Lemmy on the list thinking oh they are good and mentally omitted it. No longer on Reddit for sure now. I seem to have been IP banned. Create a new account and post the most innocuous post and bam within 5 mins account banned. Rinse, repeat.
Gonna fart around with my VPN to see in the next few days.

I try to avoid new platforms tho bc I don’t trust myself not to get addicted and social media already takes up too much of my time
