You can get smaller dishwashers. They make some very compact ones.
And it’s not a hard and fast rule but… If it’s not machine washable, it usually remains on the shelf.

Having read my share of early Soviet era sci-fi, I think you’re wrong.

For movies there are basically no real options to buy DRM free video. There are a few very minor sources like the VOD store of Vimeo, but catalog is limited.
The only functional option for most content is to buy a drive compatible with Libredrive, get a license for makemkv, and just rip blu-ray discs, but that comes with a high startup cost and is more involved.

Amazon used to be straight mp3 downloads for purchased tracks, but I’m not sure if that’s standard anymore.
Still there, though I’ll try just about anything else before going to Amazon, because Amazon bad.
But why would you eat Mexican food in Spain, unless you live there. Your brain went “damn, all those people speaking Spanish are making crave tacos”?

“Even simultaneously” says dr. Lechter.

Aye aye.
Patrick Stewart and Jason Statham, among my favorites, show you can look gorgeous with a nice trimmed dome.
You can totally do it with the GPL as well, as long as you own 100% od the copyright. Of you accept a patch, and don’t get copyright attribution… You’re stuck with the GPL forever.

There is surely a tradeoff at some point…
But noone says you can’t lose both!

I personally have an Instinct 2.
It basically has most features of a smartwatch, but it has no color or touchscreen. I get notifications, I can stop my podcasts, check the weather forecasts, track my sleep or heart rate, it even has a moonphase complication.
It’s all handled through the buttons. The UI is brilliant, considering the limitations, the sensors are great, and battery really lasts me longer than two weeks.
It gets all information from the phone (though Gadgetbridge, via BT). I install the official app to manage the Garmin Pay features, and uninistall right after.
The payment function does not even depend on the phone. It just copies some of the card data inside the watch.
Every now and then (at least once a day) I need to enter a 4 digit PIN, which is annoying to do using the buttons.
Great watch.

Do bear in mind that not all banks and/or cards are supported. Out of my 6 payment cards, over 3 banks (I know, ridiculous), only 3 are compatible. One bank is not compatible at all, the other one supports the debit card on Garmin Pay but not the credit card.
I knew that before hand. Garmin has a list… Somewhere.

Only thing I could figure out (except maybe looking into Chinese payments systems which… No. Just no) is Garmin Pay.
Once set up, works with the smartwatch and does not use the phone, or the internet, at all.
I know it’s not exactly what you asked, but its what I managed to do. Garmin watches also work pretty great with Gadgetbridge :-)

It does however have possibly the worst death animations in the history of gaming…

Buying isn’t owning
Often true
piracy isn’t stealing
Definitely true
Do pirate as needed, but also do try to send a few dollars to the dev’s pockets when you like the game.
They also have families to feed (or cats I guess) and if they can’t do it by making games, they’ll stop making games.

Great game… But I have to admit, I liked Hotline: Miami more.

A couple of oldies, that deserve to still be played. Disclaimer: I played both games when they were already ~8 years old, and completely outdated in terms of technology.
Planescape: Torment
One of the best RPG ever created, and that is entirely for the world building and writing, and how much of the gameplay ends up being based on these rather than the combat mechanics (which are just ok)
Deus Ex
Again it was way ahead of its time in terms of world building and depth, and it was still an unashamed PC game, that dared to challenge its users a little and didn’t need to have a GUI that could be used with a gamepad, unlike the sequels.

There are two expansions for the first one, Opposing Force and Blue Shift. These explore the same events, from the points of view of different characters.
After the second one there are also the two shorter, stand alone, stories, Episode One and Episode two. These continue the story from the point of view of the protagonist.
No car is fun in those instances. But that is how we spend the majority of our time on the road.
Hence, “fun driving is over”.
There are still fun cars. It’s getting incredibily difficult to have fun driving them.
I am European, and cast iron is not used much here (outside of dutch ovens obviously), and neither is carbon steel. To be completely honest, on this side of the altantic we are all a little puzzled as to why y’all like cast iron so much.
I have one non-stick pan for omelettes and fish, a seldom used dutch oven for stews, and I can do everything else with straight stainless steel so it all goes in the wash (except the valve of my pressure cooker).
Even my forged Wüsthof knife goes in.
I like my wood chopping board, but rarely use it because of the hassle of cleaning it. Machine-washed plastic boards don’t stink, so that’s what I use most days.
