Between pihole and unlock origin, I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen an ad.

5 years for the last one, hopefully much longer with this one.

Last one was an iPhone 13, but the battery was shot. I wanted to get out of bit techs grasp, so I gave that phone away and bought a Fairphone 6 and put e/os on it.

I was on the same boat as you, but this year I switched to Jellyfin and could not be happier. It actually feels smoother for me than Plex. Also there are a pot of little quality of life improvements which did not work on Plex for me, like always auto loadng subtitles in my language of choice.

Yes, but it is also important to financially support good journalism. That is what I am looking for in this post. That does not mean it is the only source of news one should read.

I am well aware of the Overton window. I also agree that centrist objectivity is also BS. Also, “both sides are bad rhetoric” is in part what has enabled the rise of racism in the world again.

That is true, but there are people who are aware of that and try as much as possible to mitigate it. Where others go full on in trying to confirm their bias as much as possible.

I agree. I am looking for journalism that it is aware of their bias and is going the beat they can to mitigate it.

What I mean is a source that is equally likely to criticise and bring unethical shit to attention, regardless if it is being perpetrated by the left or the ruling class.

It used to be a legit company till they got taken over by bankers as CEOs instead of people who cared about the craft.

I am using Qobuz connect and playing music from within Music Assistant. I indeed cannot play from the Qobuz app to music assistant yet.

It’s all already there. am already using Qobuz with music assistant and a sonos picture frame from IKEA (both through music assistant and the sonos app)

Qobuz is a much better company that compensates artists fairly, and the music assistant integration work is great!
