I can’t imagine that it happens. Usually tariffs are targeted but Trump is doing large scale blanket tariffs. The world economy is much more intertwined than it used to be. Even if factory jobs were brought back there are many problems with that.

Firstly to avoid tariffs everything for the product would need to be made in the US and very little is made completely in a single country these days.

Second the same applies to all the factory equipment.

Then you have to ask would factories employ people at large rates or would they automate?

I could go on but i feel like the point has been made why blanket tariffs are bad

Im afraid arab spring is something im not all that knowledgeable about so i can’t really speak to that.

But there have been mass protests in the us and riots too. Just look no further than attacks on teslas.

However there is also a culture of non violent protests in the us that has been taught to us throughout our lives while the truth about how that actually works and the fact non violent protests weren’t the only things happening has been surpressed unless you go researching things for yourself (or it’s our shitty education system, can’t say which for sure).

But people aren’t starving, they are struggling. That’s the difference.

They want us exhausted so we can’t protest. But they don’t want us so desperate we bring out the guillotines.

There have been but i suspect they may have slowed down.

I feel like one reason why trump has crashed the economy is to hurt people so they are too busy working and struggling to be able to protest his fascist policies.

I tend to find people around my age the most attractive. I’m in my mid thirties. 20 year olds look like babies to me and the idea of being with one in any sense is not appealing.

This wasn’t the case when I was younger. A 30 year old wasn’t attractive to me when i was 20.

Because there is a myth that if you’re rich it’s because you worked hard. You are smarter than others and that’s how you got there. “If they can do it i can do it too.”

When in reality they had advantages that most people don’t. Usually generational wealth.

To answer the question in the title id say

“What issues led to the break up and has that changed. If yes then go for it, if not then no”

After reading the post I’d say

Don’t wait for him. Try and move on. If he wants to get back together later consider it then.

Honestly I’ve had people say that to me as a way to let me down easy rather than actually mean it. Waiting was a mistake.

And I’m not saying he doesn’t mean it, maybe he does. But you’ll love again. You’re young. Grieve the relationship and move on. Judge later if he’s worth getting back together if that happens.
