Well, not entirely true. They do it in the US based on your public voter registration data, giving rise to companies that only exist to suck up and sell that data to groups looking to game the system instead of giving people what they want/need/deserve.

The Right wing propaganda machine went crazy when Trump had issues at his UN visit over stuff the UN said was at least partly due to his own team. If he burned himself they’d have put that franchise owner on a plane to El Salvador that afternoon.
Trump marveled repeatedly about how the fries are packaged, with the aid of a scooper-like device.

I think with the right going hard right since 2016, in order to get access to any of the high level right-wing talking heads you have to be “loyal”. The second you are not Trump/MAGA will turn on you.They also make money hand over fist selling FUD that is much harder when just presenting facts.
I just fake it … forever (there is no “make it”). I watch and try and adapt, and try and limit my interaction with people that are not people I don’t feel like I can blend with, like social camouflage.
Most important, and why I hit the reply to begin with is, you are not alone! Not sure where you live, but I’m the US (at least for now) HR or whoever can’t legally put your medical/mental health info on full blast to everyone you work with.
Campaigns like this have always been effective. And this is what the Right does, they complain en masse about everything that offends their hypocritical views. They are the ones that believe 110% in “cancel culture”, and then turn around and call the Left out when we block Nazis.
Also, MC and Visa are well within their rights to tell groups like this to go pound rocks, but groups like this also know if they grind down resources they usually win. The only way to prevent it is to ban the protesting of corporations, but then when they do the bad shit they love to do we’ll be without any recourse. It’s a bit of a double-edge sword.
So the part that I see repeatedly missed is that a “no porn think of the children” group out of AUS has been hammering these payment processors as part of a new campaign. It’s not something Visa, or MasterCard just decided to take the “high ground” on, they have been hounded.
So really if everyone wants erotic games back on Steam and other things affected by this group someone is going to need to create a counter campaign.
I think in NY we are aware and the state is trying brace for the worse, and I see/hear people starting gardens, getting chickens, and basically have “bug out bags” incase things go sideways.
Several of these platforms used bots and/or multiple staff accounts to inflate user count/engagement to draw more people in and trigger the network effect.
The dev has in the past taken steps away, but comes back when needed. And despite not being updated in a hot sec it’s still still the best mobile app IMHO.

Doesn’t that strip any anti-glare or other coating your glasses may have? I’ve always been told dish soap without additives (aloe etc.) under warm water (not hot enough to soften your frames) is your best bet to remove dirt and oils.

Exactly, and you saw a lot more antifa folks showing up during the BLM protests because they were countering the Proud Boys and other chuds. Since a lot of top ranking Proud Boys went away for J6, and BLM protests have stopped we haven’t seen antifa in the streets is all.
I don’t think it’s always a difficult task to tell if someone is arguing in bad faith or not, and someone basing their argument on incorrect information is not that (and I assume you know that). So trying to say that I see a mere disagreement on a topic the same as one made in bad faith sounds like you’re trying to conflate the two, making it a bad faith argument.
But if pretending a ‘difference of opinion = bad faith argument’ is what you’re looking for I guess good luck. That is what I would call a “circle jerk”, but to each their own. Not sure how that type of discussion with no basis in reality can help anyone to “learn and grow” though.
