Most likely fuel stations will retreat to outside of city borders, and obviously a lot being shut down and even more people being laid off along the way. It’ll happen slowly but there’ll be three or four local ones suddenly disappearing practically overnight, the last few being the ones clinging on for dear life due to having no better options until the inevitable closure.

Oh shit. No idea how I managed it, but my comment was supposed to be a response to the original post, not your comment. I didn’t bother looking at the context the last time I responded to you so I didn’t notice. Sorry about that.

Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. It’s the long term support version of W10. It’s made for company so it receives minimum updates and is set to receive updates until 2032, if memory serves. With some minor tweaks, it works just like standard Windows 10, allowing you to keep using everything you’re accustomed to without giving in to the telemetry bullshit.

I live in a city. I live 15 miles from where I work and I can drive it in about 20 minutes. If I wanted to take the bus, it’d take 3 hours and just as many changeovers because there’s no direct run. Not even close. I already work long hours so there’s no way in hell I’d spend 6 hours commuting, even if I could. For the record, I couldn’t even if I wanted since my office is nice enough to leave me with only an hour to get home, eat and get to bed before starting all over again. Sadly, it’s one of the failings of public transport even when it does exist.

As a semi driver, I can confirm that pretty much everything to do with the vehicle is legally the driver’s responsibility, including times when it’s unreasonable. Snow and ice on top of the vehicle is one of them. Yes, I know how this sounds but those trailers we pull don’t come with ladders or anything and we commonly have to park up in the middle of nowhere, so also consider it from the angle of “How the fuck do I get up there to get rid of sheet ice?”

Carriers always technically can unlock a phone. They often don’t want to help.

As for devices, take a look on GSMArena. You can filter by features so it’ll show you what’s possible and you can work from there. Or you could poke around forums and such. Lineage has a wiki for supported devices. See what tallies up with GSMArena’s spec sheet.

The best way to know if it’s for you is to try watching a bit. The 3-episode rule is a thing for exactly this purpose. Sometimes even 1 is enough to know if you’re going to like something, but some take a few episodes to get to the crux of what’s going on.

Second this. It’s great. I’ll also add that if you have a meaty GPU, look into how to set up GPU-based encoding. This takes strain off the CPU and drastically reduces the time required per job.
Compress to a HEVC MKV codec and you can quite easily shrink a video down to a quarter of the original size and still have 1080p.

And of course, let’s not forget the people that outright lie about being a lardass.

The best free version is the one provided by MASS. Any other word processor typically has some kind of downside.

Precisely. Sadly, that’s not a decision made by anyone that would frequent this comment section.

Or use Everything, which is a lot faster.

The answer to your question is the 3rd and 4th words of the title.

I think we found an exception to the community name.
To be fair, I wasn’t trying to get banned at the time, but I certainly got the message that honest opinions aren’t allowed on that site quickly enough.
