One interview (Tested) they said they are aiming to keep the price below that of the index. I think a $800 to $900 price point is a fair assumption.
My used knuckles have been running great for about 3-4 years. Only issues are squeaky triggers (which could be fixed if I cared), the grip material rubbing off, and left stick capacitive touch losing half its sensitivity. I use them daily and smack them around a fair bit too.

According to the researchers, foveal vision can actually perceive much more than 60 PPD—more like up to 94 PPD for black-and-white patterns, 89 PPD for red-green, and 53 PPD for yellow-violet. Notably, the study had a few outliers in the participant group, with some individuals capable of perceiving as high as 120 PPD—double the upper bound for the previously assumed retinal resolution limit.

Started with WMR, have a Quest 2 and index, and have used a Quest 3:
Inside out tracking has improved immensely from the WMR days. Quest 2 is solid and the 3 is even better. Now controllers have IMUs built into them that continue tracking after vision loss (confirmed for Frame controllers).
